okay so if i have them cut it, will it be so far off it will ruin board placement and tuning?
like i said i have all the equipment. i can do it myself. but if HD can/will mess up i know i will since ive never done it.if you like caulking, this should be a fun project. I'd just go to sears and get a $150 table saw or ask a neighbor that has one to do the cuts.

Or a router!with a good belt sander you should be able to even out any rough edges....

you know what happens at 88 mph...... POOF! time travel.... doing this would just be careless... plus we know how flux capacitors are very unreliable...Have you tried strapping it to the roof and going 88mph yet?
