will adding another L7 make a significant difference?

right now i have my L7 wired @ 2 ohms on a brutus 1500d, and honistly its pathetic ... i know someone with freakin audiobahns + that stupid chrome 200x2 audiobahn amp and his shit is nearly as loud if not louder , now i know the vehicle is extremly important (i have a sealed off trunk with metal bar covering the rear seat) but if i added another L7 and ran down @ 1 ohm would i see a big difference? like would it be like 2x as loud ... i want it so i cant even turn it up all the way because it hurts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

adding another woofer will not make a setup twice as loud....I agree that you should first build a proper box for the one L7 you have....also What is the box that you currently have it in?

Edit...I just read your post...is the box prefab, or did you build it...also 30Hz is kinda low...It soundls like your are more of an SPL guy. I would raise the tunning to about 35 Hz. and you said per chamber do you already have 2 L7s?

Unless your running an L7 10, 2cuf is ENITIRELY TOO SMALL TO BE PORTED!!!!. a 10 may even be too big for 2cuf ported, build a new box buddy, then you'll be happy.

Make a bigger box... tuned WAY higher. You will notice a huge difference. But as stated above, if you are adding the RIGHT amount of RMS to each sub.. then adding another sub will make it louder. But i would try the box first. Box is 80% of the install

I almost died

then they wonder why they never get loud
