wierd wiring combos and #'s, help!

ok so a friend of mine is thinking of either doing 8 8's 4 svc ascendant assassins in a sealed enclosure in his trunk reasembling a \__/ but flip it so it facing toward back of trunk. or same enclosure but with 6 10's 4 svc.

What would each come out to if he parralled and series wiring them.

four in parallel is 1 ohm.

wire the sets of four in parallel is 0.5 ohms

wire the sets of four in series is 2 ohms

six in parallel is 2/3 ohm

Eight SVC 4 Ohm drivers wired with two sets of 4 in parallel then those sets of 4 drivers parallelled again with each other would give you a nominal load of 0.5 Ohm.

Take those parallelled sets of 4 and wire the two sets in series with one another should yield you a 2 Ohm load.

With the six 10s if you divide them into two sets of three drivers each set of 3 in parallel with each other will give you a 1.34 Ohm load.

With those two sets of 3 drivers wired in series to one another it should give you a nominal load of 2.68 Ohms.

ok so make two sets no matter what when doing parralell and then parralell the two sets and for series it can just continue, gotcha

should be a nice boom in his trunk car, what u think he should do, 6 10's or 8 8's?

He wants loudness with sq and the wohhhh affect so.......... he thought multiple drivers would be cool.

after he has it sealed we'll be making either a bandpass or vented box for them

I will be having 6 8's in my truck soon but you won't be able to see them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif . When in doubt, go for more cone... without doing the math I can't give any real numbers but if 8s are the same series the 10s, the 10s will be "louder" while not working as hard.
