That is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard...some people are not as foolish as to sink 10k into a guarenteed depreciating asset such as a 02 blazer. I paid $800 for my car, I get point a to point b loudly. Some people don't have this need to impress others for acceptance. I have yet to understand why people place so much importance on the type of car (save people who require a certain vehicle for thier profession) they drive,

If you can explain to me how dropping 10k on an 02 is much superior to dropping less than half that on a 96 or dropping less than 10% of that on an 89 makes it better. I don't ask "how the hell" I ask "why the hell" It doesn't make any sense to me, please educate me because Benjamin Grahm and David Dodd have obvioulsy failed.

Some..no, most people don't attach near so much importance to what they drive as you apparently do. This is the result of maturity and wisdom gained with age ~ a concept that very few 16yr olds would have the ability to grasp. I drive a '95 Geo. CJ gave me much static for it when I first joined CA.com. Do I care what he thinks about my car? Nope. It's ultra-reliable (as most Corollas are) cheap to operate and considering the deals I found for myself on various things if I were to sell it today exactly as it sits (after removing the audio gear) I'd still get back out of it more than what I have invested in it. Is it as nice as an '02 Blazer or an '05 Expedition? Nope. Was it heaps smarter as an automotive investment? Absolutely. I paid less than $900 for the car. After rims/tint/paint/alarm I still have less than $2K invested in it and could easily sell it As Is for around $2500. [working A/C is worth its weight in gold where I come from] Most of us here have passed the point in life where we've come to the realization that it is the contents of a person's mind, heart, and soul that makes them a good person or otherwise ~ not the contents of their wallet and/or garage.

It breaks down just this simply ~ GIVE THE MAN HIS $$$ BACK, PERIOD. All of it including whatever he had to pay for shipping fees. Then you can have your defective product back and are free to do whatever you choose with said product (might I suggest that they do NOT become the focus of another For Sale thread here....EVER?!?) If the above-described scenario happens I'd wager all of this hate and discontent aimed in your direction will subside for the most part. It's your continued refusal to do the right thing (and you know in your heart what that is, don't you?) that keeps all this drama stirred up.
