you could just bridge your xtant for your front channels- it's an idea. I had 3 Rockford Punch amps back in the day (Circa '94) 2 punch 60's and a punch 100 ithe the heatsink extenders so it looked like 1 3ft long amp when it was flushed on my amp rack. I was running 2 JL 12w4's off the 100, 2 kicker 6 1/2's in the doors off 1 60 and a kicker 5 1/4 +tweet setup off the other 60. It was effin loud as hell. That was back in the day when a 4 channel amp was almost unheard of and crossovers being built into amps was a new thing (I was rocking the MTX outboard 3 way crossover that was the size of a modern 50w x 2 amp) That is one thing about new-school amps- they don't take up as much real estate in your trunk.Brother, we could be twins.........I too got out of car audio in about 93 or 94.Now I'm attempting to get back into it, and I'm not finding the quality and sound I remember from the "old" days. I'm not prepared to spend a couple of thousand for an amp. I'm amazed at the wattage I'm seeing for 200.00, but I'm not very impressed by the quality. I still have 2 of my original Xtant amps, my monoblock will be fine for my subs, but my 4X45 isn't going to cut it for the Rainbox Pro-Fi Kicks.....Man, I wish I had kept my old PPI A600 and A404.........I guess I'm going to end up with a "old school/new School" system!.........unless upon reading more hear, I find a new amp with the quality and sound of the old stuff......anyone?

Oh and for the record the new Zapco digital amps **** balls. The shop I go to says they have some cool capabilities but every one they have installed has been exchanged in the last year becasue it died and they are likely going to drop the line because thier product has gone downhill. Dls FTW!
