I understand but you are still very wrong. Buffet has donated more over his lifetime than his annual income. Not more anually.
And gate's salary Is Far above that, From Microsoft alone in 2004 his salary was $591,667, and it seems to go up every year. It hovers around a million dollars a year but his dividends pay out closer to 175 mil. a year.

Buffet is one of the wost shrewd investors on the planet. I can't believe you are naive enough to believe the crap you are saying. Do you not understand money at all?
Nope. I know nothing about money at all. I just make this shit up on the fly.

Had he went to court the first time, the next incident may have not happened either way. It surely was the death of his career and his image. Settling cost 22 million short term, and maybe a hundred plus long term in his image PR hit.
So I'll ask again. Would you settle for one penny, or would you fight to clear your name of that charge? If the charge was battery, larceny, or many other charges sure I'd settle. The last charge you'll try to stick me with is a molestation charge. I'd spend 22 million in court before I'd give it away. That's of course unless I knew there was something that could come out in that case.
seriously? the death of his career and image? the millions of people crying that he died and the 50 city tour that he announced one day and sold out the next? certainly wasnt the death of anything.

The problem with your thinking is that with battery larceny, or even murder there is clear evidence. There was absolutely no evidence in the MJ case besides personal testimony. So I can walk into MJ's bedroom when no body is looking and get money out of him by accusing him in court of molestation just because no one can prove other-wise. So MJ's lawyer likely gave him 2 choices.

First of all being that he was in the media spotlight, and he was acused. His reputation was going to be damaged no matter what happened.

So his choices where:

A: go through a long process of "he said, she said" bullshit that keeps MJ's face in court and on the news ultimately leading nowhere because of the lack of any evidence that was not circumstantial.

or B: spend less money in the long run to end the proceedings quickly and privately, keeping court pictures of MJ out of the press and proving no better that nothing happened than if it had gone to court. Don't forget this trial would've been based on juror opinion more than anything else, and regardless of MJ's possible innocence, his personality can be seen to fit the profile when looked at from the right perspective. (like i said, salem witch hunt.)

I believe it. No look, things don't work the same financially for the super-rich as they do for the adverage man. Even my grandfather who was a lowly double digit millionaire had some of the most clever and sometimes seemingly nonsensical schemes and projects to keep and make more money I'd ever seen.

To be rich in the US economy today you either have to be lucky enough to have a gift that pours money into your lap, or be one twisted backstabbing son of a *****.

A european tour sold out, congrats so does David Hasselhoff when he tours there. Of course there are people said about his death, that doesn't take the 15 years prior where he was the punchline of every joke.

Please don't tell me his image hasn't been tarnished since 1993. It's an insult to humanity.

It was a yes or no answer.

Thats why it was called a COMEBACK tour. with over a million tickets sold before the date of the first performance, you are really trying to say he wasn't famous?

His memorial service was broadcast on more channels than the election of the first African-American president!

Furthurmore who HASN'T heard his name? or knows at least on of his songs? no one.

Michael Jackson was an amazing and innovative genius in the entertainment industry, and one of the greatest entertainers to have ever lived.

You didn't ask any yes or no questions moron.
Easy there tough guy, and you really applied for the peace corps. Unbelievable.

Once

Would you pay one nickel or clear your name of such a heinous charge
Twice

And again would you pay one nickel to someone defaming you, or spend that 22 million dollars to clear your name beyond a shadow of a doubt
Thrice

So I'll ask again. Would you settle for one penny, or would you fight to clear your name of that charge?
Seems like a pretty clear question to me.

if you are naive to think that he wouldnt of sold out a tour here as well you are crazy. sure he made comedians lives easier but for two weeks ive heard more cars listening to billy jean than i ever had. it was the "cool" thing to make fun of him but he didnt lose any fans or popularity because he was weird. ever think he didnt want to be on tour or make albums? he had kids, maybe he wanted to be with them? and what difference does it make whether he sells out here or in europe? do europeans not have CNN? did they not know about all his legal troubles?

You didn't hear Billie Jean blasting from cars until a week ago. European countries are a whole lot more forgiving then the United States.

You are speculating his tour would have sold out here. I doubt it would have just like his newest music tanked here.

thats because of morons like you that would make fun of other people for it. now its cool again to listen to it. didnt you know? life is just high school all over again. whats cool one day isnt cool the next and then becomes cool again.

so the record album sales after he died are just coincidental? why are people buying his stuff if he lost so much popularity?

and catholic priests actually ***** young boys but people still continue to believe in that bullshit...... based on your theory people should of stopped going to catholic churches.

How were his album sales before he died?

I maybe a moron, but I know not to take a cocktail of prescription drugs. I know to accept my natural skin color, I know to accept my natural facial features. And I loved me kid enough to do the things a responsible adult does when they become a parent.
