LOL how many emotionally unstable people know or can admit they are unstable? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
He also left the kids to his mother or Diana Ross, not Joe
So his mother has no blame in the way Micheal was raised, and is Diana Ross anymore stable.

You don't think at some point Jackson cut on the TV and realized he was the butt of jokes from all comedians black and white that just maybe he had a problem?

And again would you pay one nickel to someone defaming you, or spend that 22 million dollars to clear your name beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Murderers and rapists come in contact with tens of thousands in their lifetimes, but not all become victims. That's a silly argument.
Of course the actual proceedings were kept confidential, but apparently, The MJ lawyers already had sufficient evidence to clear MJ's name. But this would mean a long, drawn-out court situation with massive amounts of negative publicity. And cost to MJ much greater than 22 million. MJ is clearly not a confrontational person and values privacy very highly. For god sakes, he didn't let his childrens' faces appear on tv. He never identifies his close friends, the surrogate mothers of his children, anything. Again 22 million was a small price to pay to avoid court considering how screwed up the judicial system toady is. I sincerely don't believe the boys mother would just sit back and shut up after her son was "molested" for 22 million dollars. Might as well sell him to a *** slaver.

Bill Gates doesn't make that much income. Warren Buffet makes even less. I think his salary is in the $150k range.
So what? why do you need income when you have 40 billion dollars.

and you are soooo wrong, bill gates makes almost a million a year from non-microsoft related investments alone. Couple that with his Microsoft salary, investments, and the other bushiness and corporations he has founded. and his income is FAAAAAAR more than in the 150,000K range. I mean are you shitting me? my dad makes 150 a year

You didn't answer the question. 22 million isn't worth the negative image he got from settling. I don't think normal people would settle for one dime if a charge as serious as molestation were falsely brought against him.

I was speaking more about Buffet, which donated far more than his income. You do realize the difference between income and networth, don't you?

I couldn't find anything definitive about Gates, but Buffet makes $100k/yr in salary. Most of his wealth is in Berkshire Hathaway, which does not pay dividends. He lives in the same house he bought in 1950s...he drives a used Cadillac DTS.

He would've gotten more negative attention had he gone to court and the media circus that would ensue. It's apparent the media has convicted him in your eyes. He went to court and was acquitted yet you still believe he was guilty, so going to court and getting acquitted would've done nothing to reduce the negative attention. It would only make it worse.

Had he went to court the first time, the next incident may have not happened either way. It surely was the death of his career and his image. Settling cost 22 million short term, and maybe a hundred plus long term in his image PR hit.

So I'll ask again. Would you settle for one penny, or would you fight to clear your name of that charge? If the charge was battery, larceny, or many other charges sure I'd settle. The last charge you'll try to stick me with is a molestation charge. I'd spend 22 million in court before I'd give it away. That's of course unless I knew there was something that could come out in that case.

I understand but you are still very wrong. Buffet has donated more over his lifetime than his annual income. Not more anually.

And gate's salary Is Far above that, From Microsoft alone in 2004 his salary was $591,667, and it seems to go up every year. It hovers around a million dollars a year but his dividends pay out closer to 175 mil. a year.

Buffet is one of the wost shrewd investors on the planet. I can't believe you are naive enough to believe the crap you are saying. Do you not understand money at all?
