No one is saying that the victims should not be defended to the letter of the law. No one has a problem with the burglars going to jail. But the burglars should not have been killed.and it shows jsut how weak we are when people actually stop to defend their lives over the victim's rights they just violated.
They were warned. So what? If I go outside and tell someone: "Stop or I'll shoot you", should I legally be permitted to do so?and don't forget, they were warned. they were given more of a chance to live and learn then the owner's of the house they broke into. i don't recall anyone saying the victims house got a call that said, "if you leave, we are going to rob you." they choose to ignore that warning and they lost.
What I find funny is that people are afraid to go places where the law is taken into the hands of the people (think ghetto's) and yet here people are, saying "Yeah, let them do as they please." It's ridiculous.
