I don't know, but you don't. Otherwise you would not be looking to other religions for answers. Look in the back of the Bible. Do you see a section, that says, "Other Recommended Religions?" No, of course not.

I said I'm a christian... which means I believe in christianity... doesn't mean I can't learn about other religions. Maybe it was the way I phrased the sentence.

The pope is a fictitious character in the first place... There are a lot of things that aren't biblical within the catholic church... like confessions (to another imperfect human being)... what's the purpose of that? at least they don't charge money for it anymore.
