I just made the switch from backpack to messenger bag. At first it made me feel a little too trendy and pseudo-eclectic, but i have grown to like the messenger.
Perhaps i would grow to like the roller-bag, but i cant picture that happening.

At least until i gain about 300 pounds and start exclusively wearing sweat pants .
I use a laptop case, yet do not own a laptop.

Personally, I don't like the tote bags, or messengers I guess they are called now, anymore than the roller bookbags //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

funny you mention this, i was meeting my girlfriend during one of her breaks for lunch at school today and some girl walked past with one and she was like "look at how stupid she looks rolling her backpack around"

up until today, i had never even heard of it or seen one. i don't go to college though so i'm not up to date on all of the back to school gear.

and yes, the girl with it was a fat loser.

Its convient for kids because usually the backpack weighs like 20lbs .. but if a COLLEGE student cannot carry 20lbs .. then i think they should be hit with a bat
My 6yr. old has one and she's both cool and normal. Just ask her, she'll tell ya.
Ya, those go hand in hand. Okay for a kid, but cmon, if you're in college and you are that **** lazy, well, whatever lol. I can see an olddd person doing it, then again if they are that old they'll probably just be in a hovaround. lol.

One nerd in my math class always rolls into class with one of those things. Seems like everyday one of the wheels lock up on the carpet and he ends up dragging it to his seat.

Man purse > Rolly-Backpack

I don't understand why people bring all their books to class anyways.. i out of six classes, i only need to bring two books and i dont carry them both at the same time.

I do bring a laptop to class, but it only weighs like 4 pounds and is the size of a book.

Anyone even remotely cool or normal using one of those backpacks on wheels?
About 95% of everyone i have ever seen using one, is a fatty and the other 5% have been socially inept rejects. You know the kind who still wear a fanny pack.

Just curious if you have ever seen anyone even remotely regular pulling their backpack behind them around campus? Or any place for that matter?
Lol I go to a community college where most of the 'students' are over the age of 30 + overweight. Or they are 19-21. I don't see very many young people with them but everyone in the 30+ crowd has one.

Makes me laugh
