It doesn't matter if there was no underlying crime (which can be debated ad nauseum), he lied under oath and purposely tried to derail the investigation. Just like bill Clinton!. Did you support Bill through his ordeal? It would be pretty hypocritical of you to support Libby and condemn Clinton.

I think Bill should have resigned and i also think Libby should have served at least part of his sentence. Libby is an attorney and certainly should know better than to blatantly lie under oath. This wasn't a simple "i cant remember", it was a total fabrication.

That is what he was tried for and convicted of - and why he should do time.

Maybe 30 months was too severe, but this guy didn't even do 30 minutes!

Bush so much as concedes that Libby broke the law by not granting him a full pardon. If he really thought he was innocent and didn't do anything wrong why is still making him pay the $250K in fines? Why wouldn't he pardon him so he could keep his law license?

What about some of the pardons handed out by Clinton at the end of his term. At least Bush didn't grant clemency as a reward to a community for votes. The fact is that Libby was prosecuted following an investigation of an action that did not constitute a crime under our laws. The special prosecutor pretended to be looking for the person who had "leaked" Valerie Plame's name to the media ... I say he "pretended" because he knew the identity of that person from the beginning of his investigation. Patrick Fitzgerald packed the Beltway jury with people not exactly in love with George Bush, and then set Libby up as the symbol of the Bush Administration.

Bush has righted a wrong. What's more, he has figuratively flipped off his leftist critics. Gotta love it.

I am glad to know that you supported Clinton when the republican congress convicted him. Nonetheless it surprises me that you feel this way - i thought you were conservative.

Actually he admitted that Scooter committed a crime and is in support of Libby paying a $250K fine and losing his law license permanently. He just thought that 30 months was too harsh for someone on his team. Remember this was a commutation, not a pardon.

He pissed off whats left of his base by not granting a full pardon and of course the dems were already mad. It's another fine example of the administrations bumbling thought process.

I have wanted to buy a digital camera for a while but just never got around to it. The only experience i have with them is when i bought a $300 sony in like 2000. I don't remember much about it except that it fukkin sucked. It took poor quality pictures, was overly complicated, shit memory and the battery life was horrendous. I never used it and i promptly lost interest in, and possession of, said camera. I fully admit i was pwned in this camera purchase.

I figured technology has improved drastically since Y2K and just bought this camera on a whim.

$218 shipped on the combo deal that included a gig SD card, rechargeable batteries/charger, case and a shit tripod.

Was i pwned again?

My girlfriend has that same model and is able to use it- so ease of use is definately high. Takes pretty decent photos, although the subject matter is usually something stupid in her case.
