I would choose the jailtime. If I were found guilty of theft, I would be fired anyway.

I would rather my colleagues and peers not know I was a thief.

Because the general population thinks "jail" is the same thing as a penitentiary, or prison. **** rarely happens in jail, let alone a womens facility.
