#1.Unless you go to an HBCU i'm pretty sure you're not SURROUNDED by black people on scholarships. #2. Colleges DO NOT accept students because they're black. Dont dare bring up affirmative action cause thats a bullshit card.

#3. Do you know why there are more scholarships provided to black people? BECAUSE WE CANT AFFORD IT. Its an attempt to help the less fortunate who cannot afford to pay for school. Do you know how many black college kids are the first generation to go college in there family?

Colleges DO and are urged by the FED to accept students cuz they're black... Just last year there was a big stink about there not being enough blacks enrolled at the University of GA.... They were being pushed to even out the numbers.

FYI, it really has no affect on me, I could care less. If black people feel like they are mistreated or something, by all means fight for it, that's they're right. However, as a white male, I will not fight for them. It is not my duty to make their lives easier. I'm not going to go around hating black people or anything, but I'm not going to vote for any laws that give them special favors over any other race.

I've got my own life to live, and while I try not to be selfish, I've come to the realization that it doesn't matter what effing laws get passed, racism simply will not be fixed by laws, or by anything. Racism will always be around in some form, get used to it.

Most of these statistics are circumstantial. And in some cases downright contradicting.

The income ones really say nothing.

And if blacks are not under represented in the educational system, then why do people think affirmative action is even needed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif Obviously enough blacks go to college that they do not need help getting in.

There is so much truth to what you just said. I swear to God, every non-white person is racist towards us. Be it because they think our lives are easy (they aren't), we have better opportunities (we might, but I know a lot of white kids in a lot worse position than even the poorest of black kids who are making it), or just because they hate whitey, I don't know.

But do you ever see anyone get all huffed up and mad whenever people call us honkys or crackers or any other stupid names? No. And don't give me no **** slavery, that was long enough ago and it didn't happen to you anyway. That is the lamest excuse I've ever heard anyone give is that they should get free college because his great great grandpa was a slave. Here's a tip, get off your *** and get better grades. And if you're going to tell me black people don't get into colleges w/ less requirements than white people, you're full of crap. Black kids at my school w/ lower GPA and ACT scores got more money to go to the same college as me.

Why can Juan fly his Mexican flag and its considered keeping his culture and heritage alive, but if I fly my Confederate Flag (I'm from the south), I'm a bigot and support slavery/white supremacy?

Why don't I have an organization such as the NAACP supporting my race?

What sort of outroar would result from the formation of the NAAWP (National Association for the Advancement of White People)?

becasue black people (as a whole) complain way too much.............it gets really annoying.....so instead of learning and trying to get ahead in life they complain about how white ppl are holding them back
