I believe it was a very succesful punishement. I also beleive i was a great alternative for the theives who were facing a 60 day jail sentence, although embarresing, it beats 60 days in jail and at the same time will probably make them think twice before shoplifting again.

And stealing a 15 dollar pack of beer from a company making a multi-billion dollar profit a year is just a little different than stealing a thousand dollars worth of stuff from some random person.

you know what's great, when i catch someone shoplifting, and turn them into the police, they end up having to go to court and usually pay the company 10 times more then what they stole.

apparently you don't realize how much a company looses because of assholes like you who use this convoluted logic. there are many jackasses like yourself who use this logic, and it costs the store more money then you think.
