I bet the sundown will make rated power at 12 volts and closer to 2k at 14.4 yes dd comes with a 1 year warranty but new owner doesn't get that with sundown its a year longer warranty plus to help keep the resale value up the warranty con be transferred that ain't happening with dd.

Well thats cool DD is rated at 11.8 so that argument is in valid as well...

Once again where in that statement does it say the dd wont do the same power or more at that voltage it simply corrects the ops original post and the difference in warranties.

Nope your not alone many want it I had an 02 impala locally almost doing that magical 150 it did 149.7@31 hz on music he wanted his 150 on music no tones and man it was brutal to sit in saz3k@.5 and 2 nsv2 12's.

dislike this post all u want! Most of the people reselling their sundown amps are giving you a warranty with the amp., who knows why people like sundown right now? I think its just because sundown is "in" right now your gonna pay 575 because the amp can do 500 more watts then it says it can do? That somehow makes the amp worth all the money your paying for it? By no means are sundown amps sq amps. But for 575 you could buy 2 lanzar opti200ds OH YES I AM THE LAZAR OPTI NUTT HUGGER because they are solid amps. U wouldn't run them at 18volts but still solid. For 575 u could get 2 refurb soundstream lw 2600s. With a 3 year warranty. no these amps won't do over what they say can do. But they will put out what they say they put out. So why sundown? Its just a fashion statment! U could get a aq2200 new cheaper than that sundown 1500. Good amps just too expensive..... to be honest sundown is a Lil baby company compared to Rockford(100-500 million in annual sales) even sound around(75 million annual sales(makers of lanzar)) . So come on people dislike my poast... Tell me how I don't know what I'm talkin about as usual as usual..

Never gotta chance to use sundown but I never understood why everyone claims to love them but the classifieds on a lot of audio forms are flooded with them

I won't ever run them. They're just too expensive for what you get. They're good products, but overpriced IMHO. Anybody can get a bunch of zenon amps with some upgraded components at bulk price, up the price, and resell them.

I'd definitely go dd over sundown.

I think it's just big on these forums because Jacob is on the forums all of the time, which is nice if you ever want/need to contact the owner.
