why ppl dont use ported box

Yeah no kidding, ported boxes are just as common as sealed boxes

Actually I probably do see more sealed boxes. They hit harder. Sealed boxes

put out real low bass and in my opinion doesn't sound the way music is meant

to sound.

er, I think sealed hits better than ported. I don't see how you think it would hit lower than a ported box. I hear more of the low, hollow sound from ported boxes, and the sealed give you more of a clean beat.. the way music is supposed to sound.

i have a ported box for my sub, and thats the only kind of box i will use. 3db increase is a bid difference if u really look at.
