Both amps are built solid, the sae-1200 has a small edge due to extra components in the amp, but there again that is why there is a 100.00 difference in the price. Cost and quality is what it comes down to sometimes, just depend on the person. Both companies make a great product no denying that.

I have heard it one too many times that Class D is "easier" on the electrical system from the local custom shops. They blow so much smoke up the unsuspecting customer's *** that the customer thinks they can fly....

You see my logic behind it better? If it draws less current and puts out the same power it is more efficient.

I see where you get frustrated from other blowing smoke to people about the AB or D and which one is better, and what not.

My GT-40 and my Nine.1 have close to the same efficiency.

You can still strap them, you just can't do it with the RJ-11 cord.

All I know is that the only thing I would ever buy from eD is their amps, they seem to be pretty good, but as of now I am completely happy with what I have.

Their subs are pretty good, I have an old flatcone e15A, and recently had 2 13oV.2, and my girlfirend has 2 13kv.2 in her car, and they are all very good.

I dont think you can strap a new model with an old. The old had a single rca for strapping rather than a phone cord.

well i have two of the old models, i can get pics of it up if you want, but its only got the one phone cord for the bass knob, but it does an input plug next to the slave/master control. i just have never strapped n amp before and dont really know how... but id love to use both amps

yeah it does have to RCA wire hook up, can anyone tell me how to strap these amps? like what it does also and does anyone know how to calculate the wattage for them togheter? ust so i know what sub will be recireving

You can get 2400 watts or more at 2 ohms with a good electical system. I ran mine at 1 ohm or .5 each daily and got around 3500 watts. This put a huge drain on my electrical system even with two kinetic 2400 batterys. I will see if i can find a pic on strapping and post here shortly.

I don't think you get any more power from strapping them than you would if you just hoooked them up separately.

I actually gained .5 db with amps being strapped when I was competeing. That meant a few hundred watts diffrence compare to running them seperate. It was just so much easier to strap than trying to adjust two amps .

Im not the biggest fan of the company, but there products are legit and great for the price. Theres no denying it. No matter how much you hate Ben.

And i got me a couple of those 12a's they are a whole mess of sexy
