Why is it most local audio places carry low end?

my dealer only sells alpine decks, zapco amps and processing, dd and treo woofers. that is the noly thing he carries. he has a full schedule no matter when go in there. the other dealer that i know only carries eclipse decks, boston highs/mids, and JL woofers and amps. thats it.
