You can't really blame it on that. Most major electronic brands are manufactured in china. From a business standpoint it is very difficult to manufacture a product with quality parts and still keep it cost effective. Sad to say but sq and spl enthusiast represent such a small portion of the car audio market their numbers really have a small impact on what products we see. This is the main reason why. I used to love RE and US Amps before the move. The 05 XXX is still one of my favorite subs ever.
Well ive heard some pioneers and some kicker comps that sounded decent... If u have a good deck and know how to eq stuff along with box building skills etc etc, you can pretty much make anything sound good/decent.....Lol maybe iyo but I got a chance to hear both in there proper boxes with the right power and they both sounded great got real loud and low
Um US amps bought RE audio, That is why it went to ****. It was public that Greg said he didn't give a **** about making a good quality product because people will buy it for the name.RE was great quality product when it was owned and operated by the original RE guys(now FI Audio) but after they got sold to a chinese company they started making cheaper and cheaper products. They did the same thing with US Amps and it was a matter of time before it caught up with them and now they have stopped making US Amps because nobody was buying them anymore. The quality was so horrible the last few years that most of the local dealers in my area dropped them due to defects and DOA's. Its just a matter of time before RE is dead as well, you can not offer horrible customer service and horrible quality products and expect to survive in todays market.
