Seperate chambers for your woofers if you run a 2.5 way filter circuit. You can have the mids separated from the woofers. This is incredibly common in even most mass produced speakers. Now, stop stalling and post the info at diyaudio.com. I'm not discussing anything else until you post it over there to see what they say about it.

why dont YOU go on DIY audio, and ask them if tuning the front speakers, to 40Hz, for a 50Hz crossover to the sub is a good idea? hmm?

I'm not scared. The idea in question here, is PV Audios stupid idea, what you shouldn't tune your front speakers as low as 40Hz, if you're using a sub...

it has nothing to do with the design here, I'd post it, but there's no point, because I already know I'm right, and PV Audios lack of any kind of reasoning as to why not to do this, kinda proves this anyway. lol oh, apart from "your front speakers aren't meant to play that low" which isn't why they aren't meant to be tuned that low! lol
