******* man, who the **** taught you to read? The entire time I've been saying that YES, they can play that low. NO, you shouldn't tune that low because that is where your subwoofer is going to be playing. The point is not whether they CAN play that low, which I've already said that they can, it's why you shouldn't tune that low, which is because you need accentuation in the midbass region, not the subbass region where your subwoofer can work easily. Again, why would you need accentuation in the subbass region when your subwoofer is designed to pick up those frequencies, and not those higher. Good lord man.I'm not scared. The idea in question here, is PV Audios stupid idea, what you shouldn't tune your front speakers as low as 40Hz, if you're using a sub...
it has nothing to do with the design here, I'd post it, but there's no point, because I already know I'm right, and PV Audios lack of any kind of reasoning as to why not to do this, kinda proves this anyway. lol oh, apart from "your front speakers aren't meant to play that low" which isn't why they aren't meant to be tuned that low! lol
I don't see how that applies to this argument?13 years ago my buddy said come listen to my new speakers, they were towers, we listend for 10 minuets and i figured there was a 10" passive somewhere in there or an 8" ,
when he pulled the cover off it was a 3.5 inch driver?
playing 30 hz with authority.
small speakers can get low in the right design.
but some people are just diks,
you know who you are.
.....First of all, this is completely irrelevant. Second, this never happened unless it was a horn, or some outlandish untraditional enclosure. Assuming you even knew it was playing 30hz, which is highly unlikely.13 years ago my buddy said come listen to my new speakers, they were towers, we listend for 10 minuets and i figured there was a 10" passive somewhere in there or an 8" ,

rgryou might notice when someone attacks or insults me i dont typically respond, this is because i am confident, and dont feel the need to defend myself. if you are confident you can retire from any arguement and let others build stuff that you dont think will work.
so you could find my last post and never have to do that again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifrgr
dont even know why i wasted my time reading 8 entire pages of arguing
Because it's entertaining and a good waste of time and studying, at least for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifrgr
