well the sub was sent back to dd tested out perfectly fine, explain that to dd you fuggn retard.

Well, if you said you took the sub out of the box, and the sub made a weird sound, I would think it would be the sub. Or it might be an echo coming from your ears because there doesn't appear to be very much between them.

yes but i sent the fuggn sub to dd they tested it out and said its the enclosure not the subwoofer! read the mo ****n words

If the sub is making the sound out of the box, it's the sub. That is not a lie. As a matter of fact, technically it couldn't be the box.

Got another amplifier to try?

Maybe the amplifier is sending out a crappy signal causing the woofer to snap crakle pop?

Or your head unit RCA outputs are going bad?

thats what i thought so i sent it in. steve says the sub shdnt move more than 1" and 1/4" or it will make the negative sounds. in the box it moves way too much and doesnt produce any response.

The only thing I can think of is that the box is tuned way to high. If it is moving way to much it would be bottoming out, if it is the box.
