hmmm.. doesn't sound like to box to me.i have a single 1510 t series in 1.5 cubes 24 square inches of port 38hz . the amp is a m1a running at 2 ohms so 600 700 watts. the sub makes a errr errr sound and slapping sounds. i hardly have the gain up the bass boost is off ssf is around 40ish . sounds good on low but when turned up is beats but sounds awful. you can hear the sounds coming out the port. i took the sub out of the box and it makes this sound free air . the sub is only been played for 3 or 4 days . //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifim ready to throw it out the window very frustrating what the hell is going on? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif
well the sub was sent back to dd tested out perfectly fine, explain that to dd you fuggn retard.Your sub dumbass
if you take the sub out of the box and the sub still makes the noise... if I have to answer that...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifWHAT IS IT THEN !
yes but i sent the fuggn sub to dd they tested it out and said its the enclosure not the subwoofer! read the mo ****n wordsWell, if you said you took the sub out of the box, and the sub made a weird sound, I would think it would be the sub. Or it might be an echo coming from your ears because there doesn't appear to be very much between them.
If the sub is making the sound out of the box, it's the sub. That is not a lie. As a matter of fact, technically it couldn't be the box.yes but i sent the fuggn sub to dd they tested it out and said its the enclosure not the subwoofer! read the mo ****n words
thats what i thought so i sent it in. steve says the sub shdnt move more than 1" and 1/4" or it will make the negative sounds. in the box it moves way too much and doesnt produce any response. If the sub is making the sound out of the box, it's the sub. That is not a lie. As a matter of fact, technically it couldn't be the box.
this and this.Got another amplifier to try?
Maybe the amplifier is sending out a crappy signal causing the woofer to snap crakle pop?
Or your head unit RCA outputs are going bad?
