one buddy insists on putting subs in the bed of his sing. cab ranger (no blow through)

another runs 10ga. power wire under his car (right down the center mind you) while he's running 2 diff. brand subs

another friend ran 2 abahns (wal mart) in a box made of old cabinet doors (they have handles and everything!!!

another friend cant hide wires to save his life....runs wires to the amp and calls it a day.

my neighbor has a system but can't tell me the brand of anything he has.....but oh well, they're my friends!!!!

I am definitely feeling your pain, friend. Especially the part of your quoted post that I boldfaced. That is accurately descriptive of the friend I described previously with all the mismatched, underpowered garbage. No wires are hidden at all. wife+kids+road trips=hell +sound system= I CANT HEAR YOU!

that same friend has a power wire run consisting of 4 ga wire ran to a distro block splitting into a pair of 2 12ga. wires thats about 3' long.......he drives a 2002 chevy on 20's, lowered, exhaust the works....one day i told him i liked the stance and asked how far it's lowered ( a 4/6 btw) he replied "i don't know like 2,3,4,5,6 inches or so, im not sure.....i was like...omg you friggin idiot

my gf thinks its a stupid hobby and a waste of money....but somehow she can go to american eagle and spend $300........my mom has nickel and dimed more money into scrap booking than i have on my current system.....
