Why do you have a system????

it was one of my friends that got me into it... he had two cheap *** coustic 12's in his sentra when we were 16... just something about when you listen to music with bass, its just not the same anymore without it... i cant stand to listen to music from just a radio or w/ headphones w/e i gotta have the bump

i wish it would impress girls more but they usually could care less lol

so ya i guess its just a hobby for me, i was just thinking this morning hmm what else can i do to my car... well i like the way it looks now, its dropped with rims and i really dont want it any more "showy" than that, and i think i've outgrown the "going fast" thing that you do when you're 16 but hell it can never be too loud!!

i just love excursion..the sight of it just fasinates me...yeah i like the full range of music....low...mids and highs...just doesnt sound right without some bass

SQ is where its at

clean vocals....crisp/accurate instruments...transparent bass

plus I love that look that people get when they listen to my system for the first time

bass is an addiction, plain and simple.

Music is an addiction. Even more simple. Some people get addicted to playing, some to writing, some to listening, and some have an addiction to thinking they are cool having all the new stuff. I got addicted to reproduceing the music the way the artist intended as well as making my balls jiggle like so when and where i want to.

I only went so extreme, though, to make local n00bx's STFU.

oh, and chicks dig loud systems.

I have one because I love to compete. And feel the music. And it helps curb the road rage, as most people have already said. But I always loved it when I could hear people from far away. I always told myself that one day, that would be me that everyone hears for a long ways. And now people do. I pay for it, Ill let my tickets speak for me there. But it feels awesome to have someone sit in your ride and say "damm thats loud". And also alot of the chicks around here love the loud systems. And the hair tricks. LOL. And on occasion I love to make the people round here with shitty systems STFU.

Ive always loved music. And when i was a kid I had a thing for tearing apart every bit of audio/electrical equipment that I owned. Ive been addicted to this hobby from the first time I heard a system that could be felt and heard. To me its a challenge and something better to do with my time than sit around a tv playing playstation 24/7.

my gf thinks its a stupid hobby and a waste of money....but somehow she can go to american eagle and spend $300........my mom has nickel and dimed more money into scrap booking than i have on my current system.....
took the words right out of my mouth.

my mom has probably put more then what my cars worth into scrapbooking.

To be able to create, as closely as posslble, that YOU ARE THERE sensation, of being at a live music event.

To be able to totally immerse yourself in the sound, and completely NOT CARE that you are in an interminable traffic jam because some numbskulls ahead of you couldn't drive their cars properly.

And sometimes- to do something that people say that isn't possible ("contraption-eering" at its best). I'm all about the "mouse that roared"... a bunch of simple, un-assuming-looking stuff- sometimes OLDER THAN THE CAR it's in- that just jumps up and kicks butt. The audio equivalent of a "sleeper"...

Mostly, just because I can. Does there need to be another reason? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Regards,

Gordon.

I tried playing my music without subs and seriously I couldn't stand the fact that I was missing out on pretty much 1/2 of the song. The beat. Even my gf was confused on why there was no bass. You just can't turn something up if theres nothing to listen to...that's why I have a system lol.

I love the experience of new things, car audio is one of them, it is so much to learn and much more for me to learn, it combines science and physics in some applications. I like to feel my bass and like my music loud, it basically came from others i saw when i was young that gave me the inspiration and people in my family so its pretty much given on the male side
