Why do these speakers cost so much? (CDTs)

they are not fakes, only thing is no warranty through rainbow only through woofersect.

pass on those focal's they don't sound good enough for me.
The cdt's cost that much because of the higher end parts and more time spent in development.

I'd run these for a budget 3 way

I like that Rainbow 2-Way set, but I personally prefer 2-way.

I don't like cdt either, I never recommended cdt. Focal is good in house not in car, I hate focal speakers in car tweeters to bright and mids end up being airy with out an enclosure. I would recommend morel or dyn but he wanted cheaper then $800

I read somewhere that 3way speakers are a nightmare to setup over 2way speakers, is this true? should I just stick with 2 way? What are some of the best 2way speakers? Most cars have tweeters so it's really easy to replace the 6.5" speaker and tweeter, where would you put the midbass speaker?

like i said you can always keep what you have now and just upgrade the crossovers and tweets .i did and they are running on a dc 175.4 and are very loud and clear

I own the rainbow slc 2 way and they sound absolutely clear. Wouldn't change them at all.

was a rep for sd ,but not any more.but i sell dc ,ascendant,powerbass,cdt, stinger ,sd ,when i can get a hold of murilo, stetsom,and all your basic main stream stuff .including id ,pioneer , alpine,mtx,kicker,autotek,mb quartz ,i guess you get the idea
