Not sure i can check i believe its the star the bottom is connected all the way around but theres gaps in the motor ever 2-3 inches , i ended up picking up a brand new hdc4 15 but i can still snatch it if the dp is better

If there is a gap every few inches and the top plate is still connected all the way around, and it has a rubber boot on the motor, then it's the newest one. I would go with that but a whole bunch of people are going to disagree because the SQ has a 4" coil.

The only experince I have had of your choices is a set of dd 608's on an saz 1500v3, they had a very solid drop and good musicality. If I had the coin, I would be running a set of their 10's.

IMO OP will have a difficult time finding a single 12 to really hang with a 4K amp. Some degree of care and common sense will be needed to avoid breaking it.

Team series subs or an EMF... But then the SQ is certainly less than that of others. OP I would suggest going with 2 subs, this opens up many more options for you.
