Bi-amp question

I am currently bi amping my front focal ps 165's. Both woofer and tweets have a passive xover. Can I ditch the woofers passive since I'm already using the head unit xover. Of course I would leave the passive for the tweets but I wasn't sure if the passive for the woofer is nesassary or not. Any thoughts?

Does your headunit have a bandpass crossover?

Both low and high at the same time? No, I don't think so. It's a pioneer 4000nex

So I'm guessing the passive for the woofer has a low pass filter on it.

you either have to get an Deck that will do bi amp (can do bandpass and high pass) or an amp that has crossovers that will do the same.
