I always thought they were supposed to be loud as hell but the few i have messed with and put into someones cars...never impressed me that much but they did sound good down low. if you look at the construction, it's just a sealed box with a ported box on top of it, you would think you could get a sh$tload os output from one???????/

I have used one with a 8" sub, it got the job done, kinda peaky and great output for rap, they are very sensitive to enclosure size changes.

I ran one with two 12's before and it wasnt too bad. It had some real good sq for the set-up i had at the time but also had the rolling bass. They are tricky at times. The one i had didnt like a certain frequency and sounded like shit i remember, it was at a higher tune though. It had some nasty port noise but on the low's it was great. I enjoy the more punchy bass these days so i stay away from them.
