who makes 8" midbass????

8" are huge i dont think i can fit them in what do you folks think???

There is a CDT audio 7" which i think runs smaller than a 7"

Yea, it's labeled as the SLS 6.5 but it's really a 7" driver.

Peerless SLS are great for the money. I have SLS 10"s and they are wonderful. You'll hear them next Saturday

How well does the 6.5 perform vs the 8" peerless midbass?

I don't have experience with the 8, and I haven't given mine a full run over yet (still re-working the setup right now) but the 6.5s should be plenty for anyone who wants good upfront midbass.

OTOH, if you can fit the 8s, go with them. I would have, but they wont fit in my doors, knowing the 6.5 SLS would, I went that route.
