who here has hydraulics on the car besides me

And I love mazdas. Finish that thing!
They are great. They are reliable (until you start cutting them in half... lol), cheap to buy, and easy to work on. This is the 10th one Ive owned if I counted correctly. Ive bought a few of them to resell. Clean it up a bit, put a little money into them, and double your money. My last one I bought for $250 off of craigs list. Rebuilt the head to take care of a smoking issue, dropped it a little, did some minor body work and threw a fresh coat of paint on it. I sold it to a 17 year old kid that got it for his birthday for $1800. I see it every now and then riding around town. Hes lowered it a little and added a toyota front bumper and valance to it.

i miss my mazda //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif i would drive it over any other car. I have a 2005 mustang I would trade straight out for that mazda truck if it were brand new again.

Everythings for sale... lol althought it will be a long time before this one is ready to be sold. It will be like new when Im done with it. Im working on a paint scheme now, but it will be a long time before it sees paint. It will probably get painted just a few weeks before I put it up forsale. That way I dont have to worry about wanting to change something and messing up the paint. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

my motor hated me. rings went, therefore the truc went. would have kept it and rebuilt if i wasnt moving right when it happened. i got a 72 f100 now though, always wanted a "classic" and now i have one, so it all worked out in the end I guess, just need to get this one running

that s10 is sick. 24's in the front & Laying body = camber's best friend

My friend just body dropped a local kid's mazda to the pinch. i was over at his house as soon as I got off work almost everyday he was doin it. almost a waste not to go to the rocker IMO if you do a body drop. Forgot to say, it was a traditional bodydrop and was done in 2 1/2 weeks. What do you expect when some 17yo brings you 500 bux. LOL.

it LOOKS like it will tuck up under the hood if they cut out the braces as well...

It fits. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif :naughty: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

bodied on '4s.

I'm not much of a big wheel fan, but it fits the truck perfectly.

2.5 weeks isn't bad for a bodydrop... I've seen some guys stockfloor a truck in a weekend though... I was impressed!

I'd rather take it to the door, if it were up to me. Doored trucks are the shit.

true, but a doored truck is not a typical driving truck. too low to really be driving all the time. Looks crazy and I love them, but for me, rocker is a far as I wanna go. Just because I think a truck is supposed to be driven, not trailored IMO. Can't compete with a door dragger though.

The mazda he cut up was built like shit from the get go. It was halfass 2-link'd, shitty wiring, just ghetto all the way through so he really didn't take his time on anything. Not bad for the guy doing it pretty much by himself in his off time from work.

I had a doored 89 dime that I drove daily. .25" off the ground on stock wheels. I loved the looks I got from people!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif  //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

You can't beat the "hover" look.

By pump setup, I meant two hydraulic pumps, with all the fittings, cylinders, coils, dumps... everything you'd need to put a car on fluid.
you forgot the most expensive part, the batts! And I heard the street chargers are $$$?

Were going to do another teardown this winter. We went from a basic notched rear the first time on 20's to a cantilever rear on 22's and added ******* doors. Same setup for this time but with a body drop and 2 bottles of nitrogen. Most of the work is going to be cosmetic, permanent chopped top/glass, 'rolled over' doors (no glass) and alot of fiberglass in the interior, 26" LCD in the dash and alot of stereo.

Ill take some pics next time im down there.

Streetchargers arn't so bad. Not like an Oasis EDC! And batts are not a deal breaker either! I spend $375 and got 4 brand new Optima red tops!
