who has worked with 5"-6.5" subs?

im thinking of using a pair in some custom kick boxes, to cover midbass from 60-300hz, then my a/d/s/es can take over from 300 and up. im willing to use a small woofer so that the boxes can be small (and fit!). im just wondering HOW small i can make the (sealed) boxes if i only need or desire to perform down to 50-60hz at the low end. The 5" can't move enough air to make a difference. The 6.5", depending on exactly which model, will want about .25 cf.
