u r blindMaybe Im blind... but the ports seem to end at the rear wall. Where's the inner end of the ports? Also, what is the point of the trangular braces at the bottom directly behind the sub's motor?
Looks cool. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Contrary to popular belief, the air inside the enclosure does fly from the back of the speaker into the port and out to open air. The air inside the enclosure gets pressurized because of the rapid movement of the cone. This pressure needs release and causes the air mass (a solid entity) to move out and then back in when the pressure suddenly decreases with the cone moving out.Looks good. I'm thinking that the holes in the brace behind the motor kinda defete the purpose though? Wouldn't you want that solid to "deflect" the air towards the ports? With the holes there the airs just kinda wondering right??? Sorry for the questions.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
So your trying to tell me that that speaker creates air pressure in that box thingy and that air needs somewhere to go?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gifContrary to popular belief, the air inside the enclosure does fly from the back of the speaker into the port and out to open air.
