Looking for people who have used Alumapro Alchemy's in their systems .....

If so , then you know they have extremely fast transient response , great speed , clarity and tone , and almost zero overhang .....

So what else have you used that compares favorably ( or better ) , than the Alchemy subs ?

He he he..... Can you tell I'm about to put a system in my wife's car ?? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

I have never owned Alchemies, but have been around them alot.. almost bought a pair 4-5 years ago. IMO they would compare to an ID or IDQ, RE SE, W3.. subs along those lines.

Back when Alch's were new and "the" sub, their rival was the SoundStream Exact. Those debates use to rage bak and forth like the W7 vs XXX fights do today. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Last I knew, SS was making the Exact again. Very similar performance to an Alchemy.

LOL you're like a subwoofer historian //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif

I still remember the 'not another alchemy versus exact thread' replies, people got sooo sick of them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I think of that alot when I see someone complain about the new comparisons and board trends.

Thanks for your input ..... I'll have to demo the Soundstream Exacts then.

I don't care for the W3 .... I find it to hold on to the notes too long , regardless of the power it's given. I need to hear the W6 though ....

I almost said W6 (imo) rather than the W3's, but I figured someone would disagree, so eh. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

edit: not W6v2
