i do have a question for those others that own these subs...it looks like the surround is attached to the cone with some kinda copper or something. look at the sub on the left(in the next post) see the shiny around the surround? what is that...is yours like that?

anyway these are the cleanest, tightest subs i've owned. i've got 750w a piece to them in 5ft^3net@34Hz w/70in^2 port. i would of rather had more port, tuned lower in a bigger box...but as you can see, i ran out of room. i getting ready to take the baffle off and fiberglass a baffle for it. that angles up toward the back(so the subs are pointed forward)

and inverting them. that will give me approxamatly another square foot, and cut tuning down to aroun 30-31Hz.

I don't notice that on mine. It looks like general glue, in person.
