Well im looking to purchase a kinetik battery for under the hood but the explorer is in storage awaiting the chicago Weather to finally break. its a 2000 V6 4.0. i want to have the battery ordered and ready to go because as soon as the weather breaks (looks like this weekend should be good) im pulling it out of storage and bustin *** on the build.

i have seen people still put 2400's in explorers (as well as other group 31 size) with modification. with that being said i have seen 1800s and 2000's used as well. being that a kinetik is a flat sided battery you may need an alternative way to secure it down.
