Really dont want to do this but Im leaving for college soon that is gonna be out of state and I need to sell My 2004 mustang GT gray 40th anv. addition. Only has 24k miles on it but the only thing is it has a clean rebuilt/salvaged title. I know the guy who previously owned it , major storm last year in detroit caused a tree branch to crack causing it to fall and cave in the roof. His insurance company paid it off and gave him a salvaged title . He had everything professionally repaired , no engine damage just exterior , I bought the car for 13,000'' just couldnt pass that deal down. Runs like a champ and cant even tell it was ever damaged. The only problems I ever with it was a bad coil pack that was causing a miss fire. Theres some minor cosmetic repairs needed done on the interior such as a missing sun visor clip and some scratches on the dash and console. Im asking only $ 9.900 for it or best offer,I might consider trades on 94 - 2004 v6's with low to decent mileage for better gas mileage student ride . Not really sure if Im up for this but I need a education and will take serious offers very serious. No need to comment or pm if not really interested thanks
The guy wanted his insurance company to fix it but instead they just paid it off (he only owed 1200 left on it , stay away from geico insurance.) and gave him a salvage title. I know the guy who owned it, he was my uncle's nieghbor and he works for ford so he took it and had the roof replaced at little cost at a Oem style repair by a ford dealer body shop.
I never wanted a mustang myself, however two of my friends in the same month both totaled their cars, and their parents both hooked them up with 2000+ stangs. The thing is the structural integrity of that car will never be the same, would **** to be racing your mustang and flip over and die with a collapsed roof immediately when one that had not been rebuild may have had a better shot at withholding the load.
You are 17 and I am sure anything people say to make you not want it will go in one ear and out the other so I won't bother //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
What do your parents think of this car, mine laughed when I wanted a stang as a first car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Yes I was in dearborn when it happend also where it happend. The worst was the passanger side of the roof was caved in about 7 inches down bending the pillar inwards. The front winshield and passanger side window was the only glass that was damaged and is perfectly new looking now. It really shouldnt have been considered salvage but being the damage cost was at 2400.00 and he only owed 1200.00 his insurance agent was a dick and just payed the car off and gave him a salvage title.
Umm I think he is fully of shit, I believe to consider a car 'totalled' it has to be something like 60-80% of what a full replacement would cost.
Sometimes you can find any older car that was 'totalled' due to it being so old and the book being less than what it would cost to get fixed but generally when a newer car is totalled it means it was REALLY ****ed.
