Who has 5% tint?

I am about to get 5% tint all the way around except for the windsheild. Only thing is I am scared of the cops for my front 2 windows being too dark. My friend has it and said he has never been bothered.

I mean it's pretty much a done deal that I am getting it, just getting some opinions. Who has been pulled over for tint?

I have been pulled over many times with it, never for the tint, they never mention it. I roll down all the windows as soon as I am pulling over. I was told by an officer that as long as they can see in, that they arent worried about it. They are worried about people having something to hide, not people that have their windows down and hands on steering wheel. (I do that cuz im black and dont want to get shot) But not one of them has ever said anything about my tint. Ive been lucky so far. Knock on wood.

5%? 15% is plenty dark for me.

I have 5% on my driver and passanger...5% over 20% on the rest and 35% on my front winshield...never been stopped for tints, yet. Cops here don't have time for that shit except school board cops.

I had 5%...got a ticket.

However...on my old truck, I had 2 layers of 5 and a layer of 15, and I was never pulled in the 2 years I had it. Just a matter of how fast you can roll down your windows I guess.

I still wouldnt tint my windshield. But, im not knocking you. I just drive through B-more city a lot and its dark, no lights and shit. One of my brothers wouldnt drive my car cuz of the tint, he couldnt see out of it. So I cant imagine what it would be with my winshield tinted.

mine were tinted just like yours and got pulled over twice by the PO-PO!

first ticket was $120.00 but the officer did not mentioned anything about being a fix it ticket. The second time the officer explained to me that if i correct it then all i have to do is have an officer check it and sign the ticket and all i have to do is send it with a $10.00 fine.

I am in Cali and we have the most restrictions as far as mods allowed in vehicule.

ive been pulled over 11 times for tint 8 of those i had 5 all the way around and never got a ticket from the cop and now i have 30 on my front roll ups and i just got a ticket for that like 2 weeks ago hmmmmmm go figure huh lol

I won't be tinting my windsheild. I mean I already have ~15% all the way around and have never been bothered. I was even pulled over with it and the cop didn't say anything. I am gonna drop it down to 5% tommorow thats all.

I have 5% all the way around cept windshield and haven't been pulled in this car for it yet. My last car I did recieve a ticket for driver and passenger windows being tinted though. BTW it doesn't actually matter the % of tint, in Michigan at least, you aren't supposed to have it on the front windows at all.

my buddy got a ticket for it, but that was because he had a tinted cover on his plates too. thats why he got pulled over, and then the cop decided to tack that ticket on also. and btw, isn't it legal in FL?

Florida I believe is 28 front 15 rear and 15 or 5 back.

I don't think your allowed to have 5% at all in FL or nothing under 20%.
