I dont own one, simply because the "affordable models" are flat out junk. I go through solid concepts, but my school has one that I can use as well. Here's a few of my models

I paid $660 shipped for mine including a roll of plastic that I still have they range from cheapest(would not suggest) 300 to expensive which would be thousands

Yea those models are great! My 3D modeling needs some work haha. I'm more of a physical art guy (Drawing, glass blowing, etc.)

But yea, the cheap ones are junk. The expensive ones are sooooo expensive. Our CS/Physics department has a $3,000 one and its sweet.

exactly why I went middle ground did a crap tone of research before I bought mine only issue ive had so far was one nasty clog cause of black filament but I replaced the hot end and she works perfect now

We had a similar problem where it kept clogging and stopping mid print. Was ultra annoying.

I have found that if you use acetone and a guitar string or paper clip to clean it out it works well for basic clogs, but the bigger painful clogs have to be drilled out
