who can help me with a port?

if i am trying to tune a port to somewhere between 28-34 hz and the opening will be 2" x 8" how long would the port have to be. this would be in @ .8-1 cubic foot box

about 25-38" long for the 1 cube box with the 1.5"x8" port. that would be around anywhere you are looking for

i know about that site but cant really use it due to the fact that the bix is not going to be a rectangle

and 25 inches would put me where? would there be too much port noise? and what would the 25 inches put me at in a .8 box?

the 1.5"x8" port should be enough for a 1 cube box.

youd be around 34 in 1 cube with it 25" long

around 38hz in the .8 box

cool thanks, i guess ill go a lil longer just to make sure it isnt tuned too high
