nah no poll because idont wont to hear from people who love ported ro bandpass. strictly for peeps who love the sealed!

my faith has recently been restored in them..

i put 2 10" type-r's sealed in my buddies car, for something temp. sounded alot better than anything i'm used to(ported) and still had a decent ammount of output.

i'm debating selling my 5200's for some q's and run 4 18's sealed or something.

obviously there no the best at throwing up huge numbers w/ out having a lot more cone area than a ported setup, but it'll sound a hell of a lot better.

I like sealed enclosure if it includes ALOT of woofers like tommy mckinney.His truck can hit all kind of notes because of the freq cuves flatens out i higher freq.for all out spl tho and pain you can beat ported or bandpass boxes.

thats what i was thinking sealed with tons of cone area. plus i like the fact with sealed that u can run ur woofers in an much smaller space and still have the Lowest of lows. i think thats cool! plus more powerhandling,excursion,and dont have to worry about tunning, nor playing below tunning!

i would have to aggree. the fact that you can allso run smaller boxes sealed is a plus two when space is an issue.

another advantage is you can run a bunch of cheaper subs because of the better powerhandling and still break stuff.lol
