i know its sucks im an mech engineer tho so i'm bound to catch up sooner or later
i remember when i was in college i was at a coin laundry one time and overheard 2 middle age black ladies bragging to eachother how much their welfare checks were... and one drove a BMW the other had a mercedes... i couldn't help but wonder why i was bothering with college

you were taught to make the most of it which is great and im glad, but others were taught to take ADVANTAGE of it... and thats the problem

I am assuming you mean the welfare program correct? Blacks make up like what? 14% of the country? So you think that of that 14% 99.9% don't work and are living off the government? I challenge you to find a study anywhere that will tell you that more blacks are on welfare than whites. It's all in how society wants to make it look. My mother has 7 kids. Never was on welfare, and did it damm near on her own. We all went to private school too.The house I grew up in was paid off before we moved into it. Yeah it's in the ghetto and I saw shit I didn't need to see, but I would not change that experience for any.

what are you, stupid??? if it wernt for white people putting up "White only restrooms, resturants, water etc". We would have never had the need for "black fashion shows, clubs and colleges.
You dont see white people holding these things because your white, and when it is one of these events and you walk in the room you dont get a unwanted feeling or notice that everyones staring at you.

I could take you to a resturant right here in Ann Arbor called the Gandy Dancer (one of those ritzy "let me place your napkin on your lap sir, places) and I could 95% of the time be right that there isnt a single black customer in there, unless theres a graduation or prom going on somewhere in the area, but theres always black people working.

I went with my girl, her cousin and his girl and daughter and this lady is sitting there staring at me and her cousin (the dark ones) like what are we doing there, and I sat there and watched her the whole time she never looked at my girl or his girl or the daughter (black but lightskinned) but yet she knew I saw her starring at us and she continued to do so until I waved at her and asked if she wanted my water after I drank out of it.

Would you care to offer a logical explanation to her behavior, because for this to be a upscale resturant (bill for 4 adults and 1 child with no alchol was a tad over 200) she sure was acting like she had no home training

ill offer you a logical explantation, you said it was one of those ritzy places... most ritzy white people i know have never met a self made(legal) succesful black man so you were out of place

no im not refering to welfare i mean in general, while some black people are taught to stand up to the system cuz you can do whatever you want to do (obama for instance) others are taught that they are owed something so take advantage of whatever you can, not necessarily welfare i just mean about life in general

many black people find it necessary to celebrate how they became accepted in the US, because of what happened during slavery and up until the late 1960's. It is very important to them, and it should they should be honored because of the fight they put up and the fact that they overcame slavery to be accepted in a place that hated blacks is just amazing. Think if black people were hated by whites now, nothing would be the same. Sports, schools, everything would be different. That is why there is BLACK HISTORY MONTH.

You should really look into the contributions that blacks made to this country. You'd be amazed. Not saying that the Super Soaker was the wheel but this is the guy who invented it. I'm sure you owned one. The golf tee is ours too. Stop light, gas mask, I can go on. You just know peanut butter and MLK I bet.

It turns out, there is a black history month, but no white history month. Therefore, I propose all months besides February be white history month...

i honestly couldn't tell you who invented what, im an engineer my job is to invent stuff not know who did.
