whistling sound coming through speakers

yesterday i hooked up my new hifonics bx1606d amp to my L5s. Then i have my usual 1200 watt boss amp running to my mids and highs. It wasn't doing it before but now whenever i turn my stereo on, even with the volume completely down there is a whistling noise coming through my mids and highs. Every once in a while it will stop but a majority of the time its there. Checked the ground wires and made sure the rca cables were in all the way everything shows to be good.

The whistling noise doesn't change as the rpms on the motor get higher equal like it does sometimes if there is a bad ground.

Anyone have any ideas? It is extrememly annoying.

I have this same problem, I checked every connection and my tweeters make a low distortion sound like a whistle...from what i've researched on here it is the gains that need to be set higher. It still didn't fix my problem all of the way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

I didn't change a thing on the amp that is hooked up to my mids and highs. Only thing I did was unhook the wires and move the amp to the left on my amp rack and hooked the wires back up.
