yeah cause their actual store is located near me and i know they are a trustworthy place to buy stuff from...that's where ive got most of my audio equipment from that i have..

i'd go with a sundown 1500d, you can get them in the classified for between 300-350$ and they are AWESOME amps

yeah im down in corpus christi and i worked with a lot of people (moving furniture for lacks) that were just getting out of the millitary and i was under the misconception that " if your in the milliatary your a good person with tons of morals" untill i found out these guys had cookies of crack the size of my head.

For your choices;

The MTX I heard, will heat up really quick if modded since it wasn't meant to do 1 ohm anyways. The protection is there for a reason. Modded 81000d's are just plain 81000d's with the low imp protect removed so it doesn't go into protect. Doesn't mean it's stable at 1 ohm though.

The SS PCA2kd will do 3k at .5 ohm if you have the electrical to back it up. Post #3:

The Brutus, although hated by many followers here, will do rated power at 14.4. The 07's and 08's were updated to run a bit more efficiently. Calculations at 12.5 volts shows a bit over 1700 watts at 1ohm.

This makes me want to go with my original choice the Hifonics...ive did some research on the mtx and did see it will heat up quicker and I also took the protect situation into consideration. I have my 81000d open right now...im lookin at the chip but dont think Im gonna take it out.
