Which would be the better Amp choice?

I have 2 Rockford Fosgate P312's that are at 1200w RMS and I'm wondering which amp would be better to get. A 1200w Nitro Amp Dual-Channel or a T1500bdcp which is the Rockford Fosgate 1500w amp Mono Block meant for continuous play, so which one do you think would be the best to get? They are both like 4.9 Rating.

Easily the RF, and the CP in that RF amp means "constant power" which means that it will deliver about the same amount of power whether you have a 1 ohm or 2 ohm or possibly even 4 ohm load connected.

I would get neither, then. I would spend more than the Nitro but less than the RF. I think $250-300 will get you a solid, reliable amp. If you go used, maybe as low as $150, depending on what's available.

That's a good choice. I like RF amps, even the Prime series, even if the Prime series and the recent Punch series are ugly.

The nitro is rated for 1200w MAX, I have one of their "1000" watt amps, does 300w RMS bridged. So both the Nitro and the RF are a waste of money. I don't know where you're paying $750 for a RF 1500, but you're getting ripped off. How did you come down to those 2 amps, and nothing in between? Here's this RF for $450, still a tremendous rip-off... Rockford Fosgate T1000-1bdCP (t10001bdcp) (2010 Model) 1000W RMS, they are underrated though so you'll be getting at least 1200w out of it. Personally, if you insist upon buying new, I'd probably get something like this: AQ1200D Amplifier
