Which would be better?

Hey guys i've been thinking about getting an alarm, but recently i thought of maybe just getting a cargo cover.

What are your opinions? Should i go with an alarm around 70 bucks off eBay or get a cargo cover. My car is a Jeep Cherokee and has factory tint in the back.
