Which would be better for some AQ's?

okay good input thanks guys.. how much of a price difference would it be from AQ2200 to AQ3500D and would it make too much of a difference in regards to output from the hdc312s?

If it's the old school Orion 2500d from right when orion was bought out by DEI.....Then this is an absolute no brainer. Go with the 2500d. It will smoke the AQ 2200. If you are talking about the AQ 3500, the 3500 will beat out the Orion.

This is comming from a guy that loves AQ.....But the 2500d was and still is one hell of a beast. Reliable as hell, can take low impedances well, and runs cool. One of my favorite daily amps I have run BY FAR.

It would be worth it to save up a little extra cash. The AQ's would love 1750 watts each. If you give them 1100, they will laugh at you and you are just going to upgrade to a bigger amp, or buy another 2200 in the future. You might as well do it right the first time.

This all assumes you have the electrical to support this.
