Which way to go would be better?

I'm still kicking around ideas for sub(s) in my Jeep Wrangler, and have been curious about multiple 8" subs. I am looking at the powerbass xl-804, which I can get 3, new, for around $150. They are 4 ohm and rated at 200 watts rms.

Now, would I be better with a decent quality 10" sub, say a Sundown SA/SD 10"? Or Soundqubed, Incriminator, ID, etc. in the $150 +/- price range. I'm looking for SQ more than SL, but would like it to be heard with the top of my Jeep down.

I don't need to rattle windows a block away, and listen to all genres of music. My most pressing bass needs are hip hop (and I do have a small affection for Houston rap, but don't listen to it regularly).

No opinions of 3 ok-ish 8"s vs 1 quality 10" sub?

Get a couple Cadence S2 8's and throw 1500 watts at them.

Those definitely look like the better sub than the Powerbass. It would probably put me a little over budget though, but not terribly. I'll keep them in mind as I keep planning.
