which way to face subs?

i have a eclipse hatch and i heard that facing the subs up toward the hatch would b the best way. i was plannin on facing them towards the front of the vehicle. can ne1 explain ne advantages of either of these setups?

i'd either have them facing up towards the hatch...or facing the rear BUT @ an angle towards the hatch (get it?¿) peace

I've tried my setup with the sub facing both ways...sounds much better firing off the rear doors, than up in front...more surfaces to reinforce the front wave, perhaps.

the enclosure will b made at the back of the trunk tho facin forwards....that tutorial link says...........box at back of trunk with speakers aiming forward=better in car bass-no difference with trunk open.........so is that good?

build a test box first before u glass anything

put it facing the glass, i had 2 12" punch z's in my camaro, and they slammed (inside the car), if you opened the hatch they sounded like plane punch z's

yeah my fren has 2 treo 12's in his firebird and they blast hard. hatch cars are an advantage and the glass is something u might want to take advatage of. id try some thing so the sub is facing the glass[hatch].
