well the box isnt going to be crappy, both subs will be ported and wired to their own amp, with plenty of power, and also will have the correct enclosure specs, any advice on the best tuning frequency is appreciated

if you are talking about the KAC-8152D (I couldn't find anything on a 915D), then I wouldn't go with either. That isn't really enough pwoer for wither set up. You need at least 750w to each woofer for either setup. Preferably 1000w each if you want to get loud and you know what you're doing.

i googled them and found them...

900 rms

Nevermind, I found the amp. Must be a discontinued product or something. Type Rs can get pretty dern loud with that amount of power on them. I think the L7s might sound better though, plus I like the looks of them better than the Rs. Just my 2 cents

Both of the amps are Kenwoods 9152D, they do 900 wrms at 2 and 1 ohm, they arent discontinued either.

this is for a daily driver, i do listen to my music VERY:cool: loud, prolly around 139 db daily. also ill be building an extra box so that i can do DB competitions with these subs as well. so keep that in mind

come on now, please no negative comments, im just trying to figure out whats going to work the best for my taste. seeing how this is going to be my last system, i just would like any positive comments or advice that will help in this decision

I plugged it in to winISD with 5 cubes total volume with ~50 sq in. of port tuned to 36Hz. Kickers are a bit louder below 33 Hz, and the Rs are louder above 33 Hz. No more than a 2dB difference either way. These figures aren't terribly reliable, but it does give you a decent idea of what you're looking at. A lot of it depends on what the car is, and how you install it.
