those 2 JBL subs are identical but the first one is a dual 4 ohm so you have some diff. wiring options.

tbh they're probably about the same...they are $60 subs so i wouldn't expect much.

Jbl all day. and disregard ALL peak wattage specs when shopping. match your amps rms to your subs rms(or be very close).

and really nothing @ 200-300 rms will beat hard. itll sound good though

it depends on the vehicle, i had 2 of the infinity 10s in a sealed box in the trunk of my lincoln and they were quiet, but the same subs in the same box in my buddies neon, they are surprisingly loud

I'll chime in, since I just got done working with that very Infinity sub today. Built a sealed box for it, about 1.4 cu ft. including displacement. It's powered by a Kicker ZX450.2 I'm impressed. It sounds really decent, and for a sealed sub, it hits pretty hard facing the hatch. Granted, it's not going to sounds like a $300 sub. But I've heard people have more expensive subs that sounds like **** and seem underpowered because they bought it at some big box store sold by morons that don't know crap.

I wouldn't think twice about recommending these to a budget builder. The only thing that was irritating was they didn't come with mounting screwes and the wire terminals (don't know technical term) are slightly fragile. I don't think I've heard any "cheap" sub that sounds this nice. Perfect if you don't listen to Rap or the like.
